<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council was held Tues. Oct. 18, <br />~ f' .h. . <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members presemt: Salverda, Carlson, Willmus, Hammersten, and <br />Don Carley, Engineer. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Carlson moved, Willmus seconded the minutes of Oct. ~ be <br />approved. Roll call Ayes(4)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Willmus seconded a petition be accepted to <br />rezone a parcel of land on the N.E. corner of Snelling & T.H. 36 <br />from Farm Residential to Commercial. The Planning Commission <br />will hold a hearing Nov. 7 at 7:30 and the Council Nov. 9 at <br />8 P.M.. Roll ~ Ayes(4)-Nayes(0). <br />Ç-ít\\ <br /> <br />Olson moved, Hammersten seconded the contr~ct for fencing for the <br />oil tanks be awarded to the Cyclone Fence Co.. The two lowest <br />bids were identical in every respect, so the contract was awarded <br />to the firm having a St. Paul office. Roll call Ayes(4)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Will.m.us moved, Carlson seconded the clerk be authorized to <br />purchase a steel cabinet for election supplies & another type- <br />writer. Roll call ayes(4)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved~ Carlson seconded the licenses be approved. <br />Roll call Ayes(4)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Geo. Seaburg appeared before the Council in regard to the drainage <br />off Long Lake Rd. & Laurie Rd. The engineer stated he wou.ld check <br />the situation to see if it could be made a city-section & continue <br />it to T.H. 36. Previously the Highway Ðept. had refused us a culvert <br />under T.H. 36, but the Engineer is going to check again. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded we recess till 7 P.M.. Roll call <br />Ayes(4)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Meeting resumed at 7 P.M.. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved,Willmus seconded a resolution be adopted and the <br />clerk be authonized to advertise for sale of rtevenue. Bonds for <br />Municipal Bldg. Roll call. Ayes (4)-Nayes(0) . <br /> <br />Olson moved, Hammersten seconded the St. Anthony Park State Bank be <br />authorized as the official bank for the Øn-Off sale liquor store. <br />Roll call. Ayes(4)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Olson moved, Hammersten seconded the manager of the new liqùor store <br />be bonded for $25,000.
