VILLA.GE OF ROSEVILIE Regular meeting of the Vi1la.ge Council Tuesday Nov. 15th, 1955 2 p.m. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present; Carlson, Salverda, Olson, Willmus and Ha.mmersten. B. H loftsgaarden, attorney, was also present~ Carlson moved, Olson seconded the minutes of Nov. 1 be approved. Roll Call Ayes (5)-N~es (0). Mr. Tricol, from Kinkead & Associates of Chicago-PIJofessional Planners, spote to the Council about Planning in Roseville, and pointed out several interesting points. The Planning Commission recommended the tentative approval of the Roselawn Acres Plat. The Council agl'eed to hold over their decision till the meeting on Tuesday Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. Mr. Popovich, fiscal agent for the Sanitary Sewer project, and Roger Short and Hr. Banister, from the Banister Engineering Co. discussed the sewer project. Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded a resolution be adopted to proceed with Plan 1 of the sewer project which would extend from Rice St. to just east of Cleveland and as far north as Hwg. 36. There will be a public hearing on Dec. 14, 1955 8 :p.m. at the Alexander Ramsey High School. Reiling and his attorney Mr. Finley discussed his Water Dept. with the a..riwi:i Codncil. It was tentatively deciùed that we would charge $2.00 for each house connection and the amount of the bond he mould carry to be $3,000. Olson moved, Willmus seconded that informal approval be givwn to their resolution to be rewritten as to proper language and proper form and then to be checked by the Village Attorney-" and then submitted to the CoiAncil for final approval. Willmus moved, Hammersten seconded we negotiate to purchase 3 acres of land .. $4,000 an acre ad~acent to the present Village Hall from Geo. Reiling. Roll Call Ayes (5)- ayes 10). Carlson moved, Hammerøten seconded an ordinance be adopted to raise the pay of Village officials: $20.00 month increase for Trustee $50.00 month increase for Mayor Roll Call Ayes (5)..Nayes (0). . Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded the letter from Mr. Schutlle in reference to gog nuisances be referred to the dog catcher. Roll Ayes (5)-Nayes (0).
