VIl,LAGE OF ROSEVILLE Continued meeting of the Village Council Tuesday Nov. 22, 1955,8P.h. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Carlson, Salverda, Olson, Willmus & HarrJ1lersten. Don Carley, Engineer} was also present. a:ulson moved, Willmus seconded the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as pr~sented. Roll call Ayes(5)-Nayes(0). On the matter of the rehearing for the rezoning of the parcel of land near Cleveland & Co. Kd. D known as tract 8, to be rezoned for the Minnesota Transfer Railway Go, the matter was tabled temporari¡Y until the parties involved can get together. ~œ. Ahlgren, President of the ~exington School PTA, told the Council that the PTA has written Gov. Freeman requesting a traffic signal at I~xington and Co. Rd. B and they were told the Village Council should request a traffic count at this intersection, Olson moved , Hammersten seconded the cl~rk be authorized to write a letter to. the Highway Dept. and t~ Gov. l' ree~an to request a traffic count at Lexington & Co. Rd. B. ~oll call. Ayes(5)-Nayes(O). Hammersten moved, Olson seconded the ·l.Í.o~elawn Acres Plat be accepted as recommended by the Planning Commission & the VHlage Eng. Roll Call. Ayes(S)-Nayes(O). Hammersten moved, Olson seconded the plans for the btate Farm Mutual Ins. Go. Bldg. be approved and a permit be issued. Roll Call. Ayes(5)-Nayes(O). Olson moved, Hammersten seconded the Hess Hair Milk vo. be given permission to build an addition to their building at rtice and NcGarrons St. .I.~ol Call. .tI.yes(5)-Nayes(O). Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded to accept the petition for rezoning a piece of property for the Hess Hair Milk Co. œn ~ice St. and. set the date for the hearing bv the planning commission for Dec. S at 7:30 P.M. and the Village Council on Dec. 7-at 2P.M. Roll call. Ayes (5)-Nayes(O).. Olson moved, Carlson seconded that Eldridge St. between Dale St. and Alameda in James 3rd addition be acc}teted for continious ma.intenance by the Village of J.l.oseville. rtoll call, yes(5) Nayes(O).. Hammersten moved, Olson seconded the reconstruction work that was on County Ditch #4 in James 4th addition be aecepted by the Village. Pipes, catch basj~s, manholes and sodding has been completed. rtoll call, Ayes (5)-Nayes(0).. Hammersten moved, seconded by Olson that a letter be sent to the Northern States Power Co. requesting they erect a street light at Cleveland & ~osewood Lane. Roll call. nyes(5)-Nayes(O)..
