<br />VILIAGE OF ROSEVILIE <br />Regular meeting of the Villagø Council Tuesday Dec. 13, 1955 8 p.m. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present; Salverda, Carlson, Olson and Hammersten. B. H. Lo£Bsgaarden, <br />attorney, was also present. Willmus absent. <br /> <br />Representatives from the ~ster Engineering Co.;Wm. Banister and <br />Roger Short; and Peter Popovich, fiscal agent, were here to go over the <br />agenda for the Public meeting on sewers to be held Dec. 1.4. <br /> <br />The Mayors special committee on Planning made their recommendations for <br />a Professional Planner to the Planning CoIlUTlission. The Planning <br />Commission then made their recommendations to the Council. They <br />rôcommended that Carl L. Gardner & Associates of Chicago be hired as <br />Planner for Roseville. The total cost of the project would be $9500 <br />and will t~e about 12 months. The Clerk was directed to write to <br />Mr. Gardner and request him to reduce his two letters into a form of a <br />contract and return it to the Village Council. <br /> <br />The Minnesota Dept. of Health notified the Village of a Trailer License <br />issued to: <br />Robert Aschenbach -Midway Trailer City--2599 N. Lexington. <br /> <br />Carlson moved, Salverda seconded the Clerk be autborized to sell an <br />unused overhead door for $25.00. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Olson moved, Hammersten seconded the Clerk be authorized to ~urchase <br />a typewriter for the treasurer. Roll Call Ayes (4)-Hayes (0). <br /> <br />The following firms quoted prices for a sign at the liquor store at the <br />Snelling Hub: <br />Huber Sign Co. $240.00 <br />Lawrence Sign Co. 225.00 <br />Ivlidway Sign Co. 328.75 <br />Salverda moved, seconded by Carlson that Lawrence Sign Co. be hired to <br />erect a sign at the Snelling Hub Liquor Store. Roll Ayes (4)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Olson moved, seconded by Carlson the following license applications be <br />approved.
