<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLJ~ <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council was held Tuesday, December <br />20- 2 P.h.. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Salverda, Carlson, Olson and Hammersten. Ayes (4)*Nayes (0) . <br />One bid was received at a price of $755.00. Hammersten moved, Olson <br />secanded the bid be referred to the arcbitect for tabulating. <br />Roll call. Ayes(4)-Nayes(0).. <br /> <br />A resolution was received from Geo. ßeiling in regard to his <br />water dept. Olson moved, llammersten seconded the resolution be <br />adopted and filed. Roll call. Ayes(4)-Nayes(0).. <br /> <br />Mayor Olson asked if anyone wanted to be heard on the pending <br />assessment flir the installation of the water mB.in in the following <br />streets in Stuber and Oak Valley Addition; Waterworks Road, Stuber <br />Rd., Alameda and Roma Streets. When there was no one who was <br />epposed, Hammersten moved, Olson seconded the assessments be put <br />on the tax rolls. Roll call: Äyes(4)-Nayes(0). <br /> <br />Clifford Lund, speaking for Roberts Const. Co. showed the Council <br />a petition they had circulated in order to get their property <br />rezoned to Industrial. This property lies east of Hamline to <br />about Dellwood and ~outh of the N.P.R.R. tracks. They could not <br />get enough signatures to make 50% on the petition. <br /> <br />Hr. Lund was told that a planner was to come into Roseville <br />after the first of the year and perhaps this plat can be dis- <br />cussed at the time. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Tom Lynch of the ~llerbee Co., architects for the State <br />Farm Nutual Bldg., apolligized to the Council for his attitude at the <br />Public meeting on sewers held Dec. 14. He sta.ted a.t that time they <br />were apposed to the sewer at this time, but he wanted it on record <br />that he was not apposed to the sewer project. The Village Attorney <br />suggested that since his statement from the Public Heeting was <br />alreaqy on record he should submit a certified letter stating he was <br />not opposed and this letter wm.1ld be attached to the record., He stated <br />this will be done. <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from St. Paul in regard to the reading <br />of the Sewer Ordinance in St. Paul.
