EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 27th day of November, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Etten, Groff, Strahan, Schroeder, and Mayor Roe; and the following were absent: None. Member Strahan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 12033 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE WALK IN THE PLAT OF MINNESOTA REALTY CO'S. OWASSO WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.851 desires to consider the vacation of the"WALK"that was dedicated in the plat of Minnesota Realty Co's. Owasso and is adjacent to the properties located at: 822 Millwood Avenue W., 824 Millwood Avenue W.,2923 West Owasso Boulevard, 2909 West Owasso Boulevard, and 2915 West Owasso Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the"WALK"that is being vacated is shown on the attached Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 27th day of November, 2023; and WHEREAS, a public sidewalk or trail is not currently, nor is planned to be, constructed in this location; and WHEREAS, the City Council in its discretion has determined that the vacation will benefit the public interest because the"WALK"is not needed for current or future sidewalk or trail purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that: 1. The area that is dedicated as the "WALK" in the plat of Minnesota Realty Co's. Owasso is hereby vacated, with the exception that an easement for utility purposes within the vacated "WALK"area is hereby reserved. 2. City staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to file a notice of completion of vacation proceedings. RS 160-1-903392.v1
