EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 27th day of November, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Etten, Groff, Strahan, Schroeder, and Mayor Roe; and the following were absent: None. Member Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 12036 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF AN ALLEY IN THE PLAT OF C.W. MICHAEL SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS,the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.851 desires to consider the vacation of an alley that was dedicated in the plat of C.W. Michael Second Addition and is adjacent to the properties located at: 1045 Grandview Avenue West, 1039 Grandview Avenue West, 1046 County Road B2 West, and 1038 County Road B2 West; and WHEREAS, the alley that is being vacated is shown on the attached Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 27th day of November, 2023; and WHEREAS, a public alley is not currently,nor is planned to be, constructed in this location; and WHEREAS, the City Council in its discretion has determined that the vacation will benefit the public interest because the alley is not needed for current or future right-of-way purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that: 1. The alley that was in the plat of C.W. Michael Second Addition that is adjacent to Lots 8,9,24, and 25 of Block 2 is hereby vacated, with the exception that an easement for utility purposes within the vacated alley right-of-way is hereby reserved. 2. City staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to file a notice of completion of vacation proceedings. RS 160-1-903397.v 1
