1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 <br />5* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />6 <br />7 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />8 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 24 day of July 2023, at 6:00 <br />9 p.m. <br />10 <br />11 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . <br />12 and the following were absent: . <br />13 <br />14 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 RESOLUTION No. <br />18 <br />19 Resolution Accepting Donations <br />20 <br />21 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is generally authorized to accept donations of real and <br />22 personal property for the benefit of its residents pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section <br />23 465.03 and is specifically authorized to accept gifts for the benefit of its public <br />24 recreational services pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 471.17;; and <br />25 <br />26 WHE REAS, the below individuals or groups have offered to donate to the City funds or <br />27 products in the amount of $91,909.65 for various Roseville Parks and Recreation <br />28 programs, functions and events; and <br />29 <br />30 WHEREAS, the above-referenced donations have no further conditions on their <br />31 acceptance; and <br />32 <br />33 WHEREAS, the donations are contributed to the City for the benefit of its residents and <br />34 public recreational services; and. <br />35 <br />36 WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donations <br />37 offered <br />38 <br />39 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; that the Roseville City Council, on behalf of the <br />40 City of Roseville, Minnesota, hereby accepts the gift of the donations described herein. <br />41 <br />42 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member , <br />43 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: , , , <br />44 , and Mayor . <br />Qbhf!8!pg!377 <br /> <br />
