City of Roseville <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1652 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br /> TITLE 3 SECTION 304 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3 OF SECTION 304 ENTITLED <br /> LAWFUL GAMBLING TO REGULATE THE NUMBER OF PREMISES <br /> PERMITS THAT MAY BE HELD BY ONE ORGANIZATION AND TO <br /> UPDATE LANGUAGE IN GENERAL <br /> THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1: Title 3, Section 304 of the Roseville City Code is amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> 304.01: LAWFUL GAMBLING PERMITTED: <br /> Lawful gambling as regulated in is subject to the terms,provisions, and regulations <br /> contained in Minnesota Statutes Chapter 349,as may be amended from time to time, <br /> and is permitted in the city if the provided that any organization conducting such <br /> activities meets the following criteria: <br /> A. Holds a license issued Is licensed by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board; <br /> or is excepted from such licensing requirement by Minnesota Statutes <br /> Chapter 349. <br /> B. Complies with all the provisions of this Chapter. <br /> 304.02: NUMBER OF LICENSES AND PREMISES PERMITS: <br /> A. No organization licensed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 349 may <br /> conduct lawful gambling at any more than three locations within the city <br /> without a premises permit. <br /> B. The number of premises permits for an individual organization may not <br /> exceed fifty(50)percent of the then-total number of premises permits issued <br /> by the city (the "Fifty Percent Threshold"). No new premises permit will be <br /> issued to an organization that already exceeds the Fifty Percent Threshold or <br /> that will cause such organization to exceed the Fifty Percent Threshold. No <br /> organization holding more than one permit will be required to forfeit an <br /> active premises permit and will not be denied renewal of a premises permit, <br /> RS160\1\920171.v1 <br />
