<br />A. Definitions: The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the
<br />meaning:

<br />license shall be two years. Fees for the license will be defined in the city fee schedule.
<br />C. License/Permit Renewal: Once said term is expiring, if renewal is desired, how one would go
<br />about such renewal. Ex: At least 60X days prior to the expiration of license, lessee can make
<br />application of renewal for another licensed term. Application information to reflect information

<br />-9-.D. Change of ownership: If current license is under a particular individual/entity, and
<br />transfer is desired, new owner must go through license application process.

<br />4.F. Location: A bench shall be placed parallel to and no nearer than four feet from the roadway curb
<br />or the edge of the roadway where no curb exists and shall not obstruct a pathway. A bench may
<br />be located on a sidewalk, provided that the minimum remaining width of the sidewalk after
<br />bench installation is six feet. No bench shall be fixed to any city property including city
<br />sidewalks, utility poles and signs without prior approval of the city.
<br />€G.Number: No more than one bus bench may be placed at a roadway intersection in the direction
<br />of traffic flow, unless the Public Works Director authorizes more benches in writing after finding
<br />that the passenger load justifies more than one bench at a bus stop. All bus benches shall bear
<br />the local telephone number at which the permittee may be reached concerning issues with the
<br />bench.
<br />H. Proximity to OtheresStructures: No bus bench may be placed within 500 feet of any other
<br />bench or within 15 feet of an existing on a roadway, unless the Public Works Director authorizes
<br />more benches in writing after finding that the passenger load justifies more than one bench at a
<br />bus stop or closer proximity. Bench shall not be located within 5 feet of fire hydrants, driveways,
<br />or crosswalks.
<br />1_Size: The maximum size of a bench shall be three and one-half feet high, seven feet long and
<br />three feet wide erected upon a concrete pad, or approved s#egual, of a maximum eigl#
<br />4xALFht-foot length and #edFfeeFfour-foot width. The maximum amount of advertising on a
<br />bus bench shall not exceed eleven square feet.
