Turn.land
Village Administrator
2701 - North Lexington Avenue
St. Paul 13, Minnesota
Re: Har-Mar Mall
59-53
Dear Mr. Turnland:
I have jus read your ].etter of June 9th to Mr. Clarence Hart regarding
the parking lot ligl-iting standards occurring on the west edge of the south
parlcing lot.
I would like to correct certain misunderstandings stated in your letter.
Mr. Kluegel met with Dick Nelson and me at 1:00 P.M. on June ZOth and
i;he three of us drove down i;o the parking lot .tighting standard location to
dscuss any objEctions by the neighboxs. It was determined in our discussion that
to place the fence line any closer to the parking lot would certainly detract
from the appearance not oily of the center, but of the buffer strip.
Mr. Kluegel advised on the site that day that as iong as the lighting standard
was on tie parking lot side of the fence line, we couJ.d go ahead, The
foilowing morning Mr. .Andrews of our office received a telephone call
from Mr. Kluegel stating that the light standard could not go in that ocationo
