B. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 469.190, local lodging taxes shall be <br /> collected on all rentals less than 30 days in length in accordance with Chapter <br /> 312 of the City Code. Payment must be made monthly to the City's finance <br /> department on forms provided by the City. <br /> C. An owner of a property that after the effective date of this Chapter wishes to <br /> convert the property into a Short-Term Rental property, shall apply for and <br /> license the property prior to its conversion. <br /> B. If there is a change in the type of occupancy from the type stated on the <br /> license form, an amended license form shall be filed within 30 days of the <br /> change. <br /> C. When a previously licensed property is sold, the new owner, if continuing to <br /> offer Short-Term Rental, shall apply for a license within 30 days of the sale <br /> and may not allow occupancy as a short term rental until a license has been <br /> obtained. <br /> D. Valid Short-term rental license holders shall not be required to register said <br /> rental per Chapter 907 if they enter into rental lease periods in excess of thirty <br /> (30) consecutive days. <br /> E. The City Manager may administratively deny a license under this Chapter if <br /> the property has been issued fines for repeat nuisance violations per City <br /> Code Section 511. <br />
