E
•
FLAME DEVELOPMENT COMPANY
800J Twin City Federal Building - 121 South 8th Street
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55402
October 31, 1984
Mr. David P. Drown
Assistant City Engineer
Roseville
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, Minnesota 55113
Dear Mr. Drown:
Nov
i r I •' `i'
CITY OF ROSEVII! L6
Enoineering Division
We are in receipt of your Planning Commission of the Notice of Public
Hearing, scheduled for November 7, 1984 for the purpose of considering'
the American Redevelopers, Inc. request .for variance at 1665 County
Road B2.
As discussed in today's telephone conversation, we have no objec-
tions to a variance regarding the number of parking stalls they
wish to serve their project. We do have a major objection to the 3
ingress and egress into the lot off of a road directly north of
our project. It is obvious to us, that during rush periods of time,
the shortest exit to County Road B2 is through our parking lot.
Obviously that traffic would be detrimental to our own tenant and
customer•traffic, as well as being detrimental to our parking lot,
which is not constructed to handle that type of heavy traffic.
In as much as there is presently another development in the plan-
ning stages, adjacent to the west of us, it is our opinion that the
total roadway should be laid out with all projects in mind, so as
that will avoid a major problem, which is apparent at this time.
We have tried to cover the variety of problems in today's telephone
conversation and we feel that you adequately understand them.
We would greatly appreciate, as we are unable to attend this meet-
ing, that you express our views and concerns to the board.
Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.
Sincerely,
ay Abramovitz
Partner
JA/flb
