November 7 , 1984
In recent years SuperAmerica has developed a very
attractive, physical plant for their convenience stores and
self-service gas stations. It is their intention to develop
this property in a way that is very compatible with the
neighborhood. They propose to undertake landscaping efforts
the will enhance the value of the property and protect the
value of the neighborhood.
SuperAmerica has done an extensive market survey to
establish that there is a very real need for the convenience
store and self-service gas station in this area. The property
had previously been occupied by a grocery store so SuperAmerica
will have a carry over of customer need that they will
satisfy.
It is SuperAmerica's intention that the development
they propose for the area will be an improvement to the
property. They will help create a complete community for
the neighborhood that is being served.
We have made every effort to accommodate the requirements
of code. The property is zoned for the purpose that we are
using it and we respectfully request and urge your consideration
for our request for a Special Use Permit.
Robert W.
