Hamline House Condominium
July 2, 1984
Planning Commission
City of Roseville
Roseville City Hall
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, Minnesota 55113
Gentlemen:
We, the members of the Hamline House Condominium board of directors, have
been informed that the Willmus Companies have requested a variance to the
front -yard setback at 2845 Hamline Avenue. Since we have been given the
power by the Condominium Association to speak for the owners of the 150 units
at Hamline House, we want to go on record by stating we are against a vari-
ance given to Willmus Companies if it has any effect on the location of Ham -
line Avenue within its present right-of-way limits.
Our primary concern is that the center :ine of Hamline Avenue may have to be
moved easterly of its present location as part of any upgrade or widening
program because of the location of the building at 2845 Hamline Avenue. This,
of course, could have a negative effect on the residents of Hamline House,
plus it may precipitate the need for additional right-of-way to be taken along
the east side of Hamline Avenue.
re c en jotmsoy
Yours very truly,
HAMLINE HOUSE CONDOMINIUM
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Dan Rieder
'Kenneth
- A '( C [ L
Mary Yo urri
2800 Hamline Avenue North Roseville, Minnesota 55113
