The General Contractor shall : <br />1. Lay out building corners including the erection of necessary batten <br />boards. <br />2. Provide datum bench for the use of all Contractors. <br />3. Establish column center line control points outside the perimeter of <br />the building. <br />4. Lay out all site work. <br />5. Lay out building excavation. <br />6. Lay out all form work. <br />7. Lay out embedded items installed under this Work Category. <br />B. Lay out anchor bolts. <br />9. Lay out door frames. <br />10. Lay out all other work required to complete this work category. <br />C. Other Contractors shall lay out all work required to complete their work <br />except as noted to be performed by the General Work Contractor in this <br />Article. <br />15. SAFETY <br />A. Contractor alone shall be solely and completely responsible for conditions <br />of job site in connection with his work, including safety of all persons <br />and property, preparatory to and during performance of work. This <br />requirement shall apply continuously and not be limited to normal working <br />hours. <br />B. The Construction Documents, and the joint and several phases of <br />construction hereby contemplated are to be governed, at all times, by <br />applicable provisions of local and State laws and regulations, and Federal <br />laws, including but not limited to, latest amendments of: <br />Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Standards, Safety and Health <br />Regulations for Construction, and Williams and Steiger Occupational <br />Safety and Health Act of 1970, including rules and regulations issued <br />pursuant thereto, applicable to the work and performance of the <br />contract (OSHA). <br />5264 SECTION 01100 - 5 <br />
