Department Approval: Item Descripti Manager Reviewed: a Section: Hearings Brutger Companies request for Comprehensive Plan Change from School to High Density Residential and Low Density Residential, rezoning from R-1 to R3-A, Special Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development, and approval of a Preliminary Plat at 2400 North Dale Street. The Roseville Planning Commission at its August 3, 1988 meeting unanimously tabled consideration of this matter for up to 60 days allow city staff to review the applicants traffic study, and specifically address the issue of traffic impact on the school and the fire station, to a]i.ow staff to review the water pressure problems and the impact of this project on that problem, to allow exploration of alternative plans with reduced density and better transitions along the east property line adjacent to single family and the Vietnamese temple, provision of directions on city housing polici-?s concerning a need for this density of development, and on the use of tax increment financing to assist this density o� development, and review of alternate financing strategies for the proposed recreation center. Therefore, Council consideration of tabling this matter until September 12, 1988 would be in order. If the Planning Commission has not acted on this matter at their September 7, 1988 meeting, then the Council could again, continue this matter until the October Planning Commission meeting. COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: to Motion to approve/deny continuing Brutger Companies request for Comprehensive Plan Change from School to High Density Residential and Low Density Residential, rezoning from R-1 to R3-A, Special Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development, and approval of a Preliminary Plat at 2400 North Dale Street until September 12, 1988.
