Ms. Patricia Ann Johnson
Chairperson, Planning Commission
City of Roseville
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113
Dear .Ms . Johnson
I am writing in reference to the proposed development of the property now owned by
Concordia Academy on Dale Street and County Road B2. While I am aware that there
may be benefits to the city in this development proposal, there are several down
side risks in terms of aesthetics, property values, and health and safety. More
specifically, I have the following concerns:
1. Increased traffic congestion on already very busy streets not designed for
high density housing.
2. Lack of safety as a result of added traffic next to anelementary
r school
and fire station and opening Lovell Avenue cul de -sac into
gh
street.
and sanitary sewers and the water pressure.
3. Serious side effects on storm
I suspect that the evidence indicating the need for high density
houing is not
be built
convincing. I also believe that the proposed single family dwellings
on 58 foot lots are in violation of a city ordinance thathiequnvestires 85ateothe
ots.
I believe it would most
woupdudent of the city have on the city, tastwelluas the neighborhood, on a
impact this development
short and long term basis.
As my elected representative, I would sincerely appreciate your thoughtful con-
sideration in this matter. Also, please share this letter with other members of
the planning commission.
Respectfully,
ar r.Goy Sag a
2434 Western Avenue North
Roseville, MN 55113
