6. Even the 22-single family dwellings proposed as a buffer
to the therefore admittedly unpleasant apartment buildings,
are to be built on lots about 50 feet wide (not to be confused
with the 58 foot frontage.) These are very obviously sub -Roseville
standard.
7. The apartments would tower over the Viet Namese church
most unpleasantly.
8. A project of such magnitude should be studied in depth.
Impact studies on traffic, schools, police, fire, etc. including
other nearby development proposals should be made. This cannot
be properly done in just a couple of months.
If Parks and Recreation wants the Concordia Bldg. or a new
center, they should approach taxpayers directly and not compromise
standards and strongly irritate solid Roseville residents
by proposing the Trojan Horse. It is poor community business
to try to finance the program through incremental taxing on
such a small partial of land which would require such high
density housing. We bought•in Roseville and we're proud of
Roseville because of its residents.."Please do not persist
in trying to make Roseville look like St. Paul ---- we like
Roseville as it is now.
Respectively yours,
Dr. Gerald S. Anderson
484-9203
