March 23, 1984
Dear Neighbor:
By now you have probably been notifed by the City of Roseville,
that a new restaurant is being planned for the Polar Foods site
on Snelling Avenue.
Because you either live, or own property, near this site, you,
naturally have interest in what is being planned. This is the
purpose of my letter.
Our Company hold the exclusive rights to a rew franchised restaur-
ant concept called "Fuddruckers". Fuddruckers started in San
Antonio, Texas in 1980, with one restaurant, and has expanded to
the point that there are now 15 restaurants .across the U. S.
Fuddruckers features big, one-half pound hamburgers. Quality is
critical to the concept. I•:e have our own butcher shop, with
butchers who cut and grind fresh meat on a daily basis. We have
our own bakery, in which we bake fresh buns, brownies, and cookies.
The menu also includes ribeye steak sandwiches, New York style hot
dogs, wurst, french fries, pinto beans, grilled onions, and ice
cream. Beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages are also served.
Hamburgers are "cooked -to -order", and a wide selection of fresh
vegetables, condiments, and melted cheeses are available for garn-
ishing the burgers.
The parent company, Fuddruckers, Inc., is a "public" company, and
is listed on the NASDAQ over-the-counter market.
We plan to demolish the Polar Foods building and replace it with
a new 8,000 square foot brick building. I am enclosing an archi-
tectural rendering to give you some idea of what it will look like.
We believe the Fuddruckers restaurant will be an attractive addi-
tion to the neighborhood, and will become a favorite eating place
for you, your family, and friends. It will be casual, informal,
and a great deal of fun. Ile are primarily a place to have a pleas-
