<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council Tuesday, April 10, 1956, 8 p.m. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: <br />SalTerda, Carlson, Kitts, Hammersten, and McGee. Robert Gearin, Attorney <br />also present. <br /> <br />Carlson. Moved, Sa1.1'erda. Seconded the minutes of the April 3rd meeting be <br />approved with corrections. Roll Call 4es(5)-Nsyes (0). <br /> <br />Warren Brennan presented to the council a petition requesting the rezoning <br />of a tract of land located at the North West corner of County Road C. and <br />Fairview, bom Farm ResidentiaJ. to Ind:u.striaJ.. <br />McGee Moved, Salyerda. Seconded the matter be referred to the Planning <br />COJIIIlission, Engineer, and Village Attorney for further consideration. <br />Ron Call Ayes (.5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Mr. Nea1 Wood requested of the Council that a petition on file regarding <br />the vacating of Asbury Street be withdrawn until proper forms can be obtained <br />and submitted. <br />Hammersten Moved, Carlson Seconded, the wi thdrawl be aranted. Roll Call <br />Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Mr. Caldwell of the Pure Oil Company requested permission to build a Service <br />Station at Lexington and County Road D. <br />Hammersten Moved, Catlson Seconded the request be granted and apply to build- <br />ing inspector for permit. Roll Call 4es(5)-Nayes{O). . <br /> <br />Mr. Beckman informed the Council that his breezeway roof extends over his <br />well. He stated he will put a door in the roof over the well tø make it <br />possible for repair equipment to get at the well. It was suggested that <br />Mr. Beekm8l1 present his problem to our Building Inspector for his consid- <br />eration. <br /> <br />The Clerk read the Engineer's report on tabulation of Sand Bids. <br />Hammersten Moved, Carlson Seconded the Sand Contract be awarded to Oscar <br />Gottfried at $1.15 per cubic yard, F .O.B. his stock pile which is located <br />at Larpenteur. and Hamline ATenues..The bid states that the Village may <br />deduct 2% if the Council decides to b)t\J'the stockpile of sand for cash. <br />Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes{ot.
