REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATEā¢. 9-16-88 <br />ITEM NO.: <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />7r Report and Recommendations <br />Item Description: Lincoln Companies request for a shoreline <br />building permit and variance at 2801 Lincoln <br />Drive. <br />Lincoln Companies is proposing to construct an approximate 22,000 <br />sq. foot office building which would be occupied .by Edina Realty at <br />the Northwest corner of Terrace Drive and Lincoln Drive behind the <br />Lido Cafe. The building would be located in the Southeast corner of <br />the site with on grade parking for 11.0 vehicles provided North of <br />the building. The proposed parking area would be located behind a <br />berm and landscaping which were provided in conjunciton with a <br />shoreline permit approved for the Glendenning Truck firm in 11,979. <br />The proposed building would meet shoreline set back requirements but <br />the parking would be setback 60 feet instead of the required 100 <br />foot. <br />The proposed plans have been reviewed by Howard Dahlgreh and he <br />approves of the proposal. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to approve/deny Lincoln Companies <br />request for a shoreline building permit <br />and variance at 2801 Lincoln Drive. <br />
