Powell, District Superintendent <br />633 West Larpenteur • St. Paul, Minnesota 55113 • 612-489-1391 <br />April 8, 1985 <br />Roseville Planning Commission <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br />Dear Sirs: <br />We are asking for re -zoning of the property at the northwest corner of <br />Lexington and Garden from residential to Limited Business, B-1, for the <br />purpose of constructing a district office for our denomination, The <br />Christian and Missionary Alliance. <br />The number of personnel working at our office is five. Therefore, we <br />would have only five cars maximum for staff and there would possibly <br />be four to seven people coming to our office on a daily routine. We <br />have three committee meetings per year where there would be eight addi- <br />tional automobiles for one day. It will not be a busy corner because <br />of us. <br />We would of course do everything in our power to keep a low profile <br />in the community and to be very cooperative with any programs. <br />Our district office serves approximately 110 churches, 70 of which are <br />in Minnesota. The others are in Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, <br />and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. <br />We believe we would make a contribution to the community rather than <br />becoming a liability.
