2660 CIVIC CENTER DRIVE <br />TELEPHONE <br />484.33? 1 r(OS <br />eV I Ile <br />MINN TA SS 1 1 <br />August 20, 1984 <br />Mr. Gordie Howe <br />Shorewood Corporation <br />4633 Hodgson Road <br />Shoreview, m 55112 <br />Dear Gordie: <br />The City Council, at its August 13 meeting, approved Shorewood <br />Corporation's request for Rezoning from R-1 and 11-6 to R-3A and from <br />R-1 to B-1, and special use permit to allow a structure with 61 units <br />at 2231 Rice, with the following conditions: <br />1) That the platting of the three new parcels be completed. <br />2) That the relocation of the sanitary sewer and the construction <br />of the water main be done to City standards. <br />3) That additional easements for new public utilities be recorded <br />and that the old easements be vacated. <br />4) That proposed trees be kept off utility easements. <br />5) That joint driveway and access easements between all parcels <br />be recorded. <br />6) That approval from the state for filling activity on State <br />right-of-way be secured. <br />7) That the developer work to reduce the driveway grades as much <br />as possible. <br />8) That additional right-of-way to 49.5 feet be dedicated along <br />Rice Street. <br />9) T`.at a non -motorized pathway be constructed along Rice Street. <br />10) That drainage plans be subject to staff review. _ <br />11) That the access easement leading west of the parcel to Marion <br />Street be vacated. <br />5DS <br />p./ <br />
