4.0 ADT AND AM/PM PEAK HOUR TRAFFIC
Projected "Build" and "No -Build" ADT
Estimated 1986, "No -Build" 1990, and "Build" 1990 ADT are shown in Figure 4-
1. These volumes assume full development of the TIF properties as well as
Rosewood Corporate Center by the year 1990.
From Figure 4-1, it can be seen that the most significant increase in ADT
following construction of the Rosewood Corporate Center occurs on the
approaches to Long Lake Road (south approach: +5,300; north approach• +3,100;
east approach: +2,700). Daily Traffic on Terminal Road west of the project is
expected to increase by 1,900 ADT. The West Frontage Road will experience a
large percentage gain, but an absolute gain of only 1,300 ADT.
AM/PM Peak Hour Traffic
The TIF trips previously projected by Barton-Aschman for the entire TIF
district are shown in Figure 4-2. No projections of total AM/PM Peak Hour
traffic were included in the January 1983 Barton-Aschman Report.
Estimated 1986 are shown in Figure 4-3, "No -Build" 1990 in Figure 4-4, and
"Build" 1990 in Figure 4-5.
The Long Lake Road/County Road C intersection can again be seen as the most
impacted, due to a rather large off -ramp volume (22% of inbound trips to the
project) heading south through the intersection. The traffic heading north on
135W during the PM Peak Hour is also significant on County Road C between Long
Lake Road and Cleveland Avenue.
