The comments are to address the <br />accuracy and completeness of the material contained in the EAW, potential <br />impacts that may warrant further investigation before the project begins, and <br />the need for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on the proposed project. <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />The Rosewood Corporate Center is a proposed development of five office <br />buildings, located on 28 acres northeast of the intersection of Highway 36 and <br />Interstate 35W in the city of Roseville. <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL POLICY REVIEW <br />The project is located within the CoUna_1'3 2000 Urban Service Area and is <br />consistent urith the development and investment framework chapter and with <br />sewer, airports and parks system plans contained in the Metropolitan <br />DeveloM.ent Guide. The EAW raises an :.ssue with respect to transportation, <br />Stormwater runoff and solid waste. <br />Tra.ns000rtation <br />proposed development is expected to generate approximately 89700 average <br />daily trips and could cause some capacity problem at three intersections in <br />the study area. These intersections are: <br />- Walnut, and t errinal <br />- County C and Long Lake Road <br />- Cleveland and County C <br />Mitigating measures such as signal installation am signal phase modification <br />have been reef ,ended :,Or i95u %, ma. �iLain a reas,..able level of service at <br />these intersections. <br />The proposed development will add approximately 350 peak hour trips on <br />Interstate 35W and the impact of these trips on the regional system will be <br />minimal. <br />
