Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
March 27, 1987
Mr. Craig Waldron
Economic Development Director
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, Minnesota 55113
Dear Mr. Waldron:
Re: Rosewood Corporate Center
The staff of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has
reviewed the environmental assessment worksheet (EAW) on the
above referenced project. Concerns that we have are related tc
noise and air pollution impacts. These impacts will be fully
addressed in the Indirect Source Permit process. We do not
believe that there is a potential for significant environmental
effects. Therefore, we do not recommend that 'you process an
environmental impact statement.
It is acknowledged in the EAW that the project will need an
indirect source permit (ISP). The air quality analysis which
will be needed in the ISP should have been summarized in items
23a. and 28 of the EAW. The EAW does not say that an analysis of
traffic noise will be done for the ISP. Such a noise analysis
will be required for the permit and should have received a
summary in item 23b. of the EAW.
Sincerely,
CYZ; ford T.
