A subsurface <br />exploration program was ordered to determine the subsurface <br />conditions. <br />The scope of our work included putting down four flight auger <br />borings at locations staked in the field by Howard, Needles, <br />Tamrnan & Bergendoff. The borings were to be put down 6' below the <br />existing grade. We were also to submit to the University of <br />Minnesota samples of the subsurface soils immediately below any <br />fill for a soil fertilizer analysis. The test results will be <br />sent to you under separate cover, since the tests will take <br />several weeks to complete. <br />SITE CONDITIONS <br />Surface Conditions <br />The existing site has been used for a truck parking area in the <br />past, and there is some crushed rock mixed with the surface soils <br />at the site. <br />The site is relatively level in the area of the proposed athletic <br />fields; however, the ground does slope downward away from the <br />proposed athletic fields along the perimeter of the site. <br />OFFICERS: <br />CHARLES W.
