August 20, 1986
To: Jim Andre
FROM: Craig Waldron
SUBJECT: AUGUST 19 NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING REGARDING LEXINGTON
PLAZA SHOPS (WESTERN SIDE OF LEXINGTON)
Four residents attended the meeting, as did four representatives
of Paster Enterprises. Basic questions focused on the following
items:
1. Lighting in front and behind the building.
2. Height of the fence above the retaining wall.
3. How will the trees be maintained?
4. How will the shopping center be set up, and how will it
"work"?
5. How will air conditioning noise be controlled?
6. How will trash collection be addressed?
7.
What will
the
basic traffic flow
in the area
be?
8.
How will
the
lots be configured
with respect
to parking?
The basic conclusions reached with respect to the landscaping
entailed the fact that the landscape plans presented that night
will basically be considered the final plan unless.the neighbors
request modifications in subsequent negotiations. The modifica-
tions would then be made on the plan and presented to the staff
in its final form.
With respect to the fence, representatives from Paster's will be
meeting with each neighbor to try to work out an agreement on a
common fence. it is Paster's preference that one uniform fence
be placed on the rear of the property.
cc: G.
