Behning <br />Project Coordinator <br />RE: DRIVEWAY CODE COMPLIANCE MINOR VARIANCE APPLICATION <br />1735 Chatsworth Street, Roseville <br />#14-29-23-33-0051 <br />Mr. Behning: <br />I am writing this letter to explain the need for the minor variance I <br />have applied for. <br />In June of 1988, I contracted Asphalt Specialties to install a new asphalt <br />driveway (replacing a dirt/rock driveway) to comply with the code for drive- <br />ways on new street construction. All permits were included in the driveway <br />price. I assumed that the contractor had done the property line search as <br />required before installation of the driveway. <br />As I hope you will understand, the purchase price of this driveway was <br />$2300.00 (plus interest); a sum I cannot afford to pay again to relocate <br />the entire driveway 2' to comply to a more legal definition. <br />Attached you will find a letter from the adjoining neighbor to the south <br />of my.property who willing accepts the driveway at its current location. <br />Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. <br />Respectfully yours <br />Douglas D.
