Snelling Avenue.
The Roseville Planning Commission at its December 71 1988 meeting
unanimously recommended denial of Sinclair Oil Corporation's/liar
Mar-CX Partnership request for rezoning, special use permit and
variance based on the findings that the proposal did not provide a
comprehensive solution to traffic problems in the area, inadequate
parking would be provided, and that no accommodations for pedestrian
movement would be provided. The Commission further recommended that
the Council direct staff to pursue a more comprehensive solution to
redeveloopment of the corner.
COUNCIL, ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to approve/deny Sinclair tail
Corporation's/Har Mar-CX Partnership
request for rezoning from S-C to S-3,
special use permit for automobile repair,
and variance to parking standards at 2168
North Snelling Avenue.
If the Council wishes to deny this
matter, it should base its decision on
the aforementioned findings of fact.
If the Council washes to approve this
matter, a motion to approve an ordinance
to rezone the site from S-C to B-3 would
be in order.
