REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE: 9-26-88 <br />ITEM NO.: <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Report and Recommendations <br />k <br />Item Description: Martin and Jean McIndoo requestfordriveway <br />set back variance at 2598 Charlotte. <br />The Minor Variance Committee convened on September 22, 1988 and <br />unanimously recommended approval of Martin and Jean McIndoo's <br />request for a minor variance at 2598 Charotte contingent on <br />completion of landscaping as proposed <br />The McIndoo's are requesting a 3 foot variance to allow them`to keep <br />a portion of their existing driveway which is 2 feet from the side <br />property line instead of the required 5 feet. The existing curb cut <br />which was constructed as part of a recent street project is in <br />compliance with setback requirements. <br />All impacted neighbors supported the project. <br />Requirement: 5 ft. <br />Proposed: 2 ft. <br />Variance: 3 ft. <br />Percent Variance: 60% <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: Motion approve/deny Martin and Jean <br />McIndoo's request for a minor variance it <br />2598 Charlotte. <br />
