The Roseville City Council, at its January 9, 1959 meeting,
` denied your request for a special use permit for a family
billiard and video entertainment center at 2819 N. Hamline
Avenue, based on the following findings:
(a) A billiard parlor does have an adverse effect on the
surrounding area, and among the adverse affects by way
of example, and not limitation, is that the hours of
operation are not appropriate to the surrounding area..
(b) The activities which would be encouraged by a billiard 'I
parlor would have an adverse economic effect on the
surrounding neighborhood, including increased traffic
at unusual hours. -
(c) The primary entrance and exit for the billiard parlor
is oriented toward the residential area and away from
the street.
If you should have any questions, please don't hesitate to
contact me.
Sincerely,
Craig Waldron
Commun y Development Director
City of Roseville
:cf
2660 CIVIC CEN mit DIUVE • ROSEVILLE • MINNESOTA - 55113.612-490-2200
