Auo'ust 25 1986
John W. Doth
2613 Charlotte St.
Roseville Mn. 55113
City Of Roseville;
I am requesting a minor variance to city code r .100 to expand mar driveway to
accomodate 2 vehicles side by side. The code states that mW driveway must be 5'
5{
from the property line. If granted the variances my driveway would be 1'6" from
the property line.
When I purchased the property, a concrete pad already existed alongside the
driveway. Apparently, no request for a *variance was requested at the time the
concrete pad was installed.
Due to the deteriorated condition of both the driveway and the concrete pad, I
would like to replace both items with a solid asphalt driveway 160 wide.. x
I cannot widen the driveway to the north due ire an electric light pole,,,underground
electric wire, elm tree stump and arbovitae shrubs and tree alongside the'drive
way.
My driveway contractor obviously wasn't aware of the city code and has already
torn out bth tie driveway and the concrete pad. He has also installed the lime-
stone undercoating in the proposed new driveway area.
I respectfully submit this request for a minor variance and hope you will
consider my predicament.
ThankeYou f r Yo r Consideration
?John W.
