MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: November 2, 1988 <br />TO: Rick Jopke <br />FROM: Jon Nisj a <br />"Y <br />SURTECT: Dove Development at B & Victoria <br />This memo is concerning the roadway and turn around provisions <br />-for the 'Dove Development at B & Victoria. As I understand it; <br />the proposed development consists of four residences around an <br />access roadway. The roadway as shown contains a cul-de-sac <br />arrangement with a diameter of approximately 60 ft. It appears <br />hat the cul-de-sac was designed to incorporate a 60 `ft. <br />"hammerhead" arrangement which in the past was accepted as an <br />adequate turn around. The minimum accepted cul-de-sac diameter. <br />K <br />th; <br />is 80 ft. It is my opinion that, although the turn-arounc. .,eets <br />the technical requirements of the code, it does not meet the. <br />intent of the code with respect to turn -around provisions. <br />Thank you for your time and consideration.
