CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />* * * * <br />* * <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.190 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE REGARDING OUTSIDE DISPLAY OF MERCHANDISE. <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does <br />hereby ordain: <br />I. <br />Section 8.190, of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />8.190 <br />(1) All business, storage, service, repair or processing, <br />or merchandising display shall be conducted whol <br />within an enclosed building or behind a solid fence not <br />less than five (5) feet high except for the following <br />uses and in accordance with the conditions herein <br />specified. <br />(a) Off street parking and loading where permitted as <br />accessory uses. <br />(b) Display of automobiles and trucks where accessory <br />to authorized principal uses. <br />(2) Temporary displays up to eight (8) days a year can be <br />approved through a temporary permit issued b <br />y th <br />building inspector in any of the following business <br />districts where retail sales are allowed: B-2, B-3, B- <br />4, and Slopping Center Districts. <br />(3) The outside display of merchandise, except as covered <br />in Section 8.190(2), is permitted b <br />y s <br />permit. The criteria for a special use permitcial is: use <br />(a) The outside sales area shall not exceed 10 percent <br />of the gross sales area within the structure. <br />(b) Merchandise shall be located immediately <br />contiguous to the structure only. <br />(c) Merchandise shall not be within any required side <br />yard, or extend more than six (6) feet into the <br />required front yard. <br />
