Variance would remove non -conforming <br />status to allow expansion. <br />The Minor Variance Committee convened on June 2, 1988 and <br />unanimously recommended approval of Gary Moore's request fora minor` <br />variance at 1026 Ruggles Street. Mr. Moore is requesting a 10 foot <br />variance to remove the non -conforming status of his existing house <br />which has a side street setback of 20 feet instead of the requi,_ed <br />30 feet6Mr. Moore wishes to construct a new detached garage on the <br />site which would meet all setback requirements but cannot do so <br />without a variance to remove the nonconforming status of the <br />existing dwelling. <br />All impacted neighbors supported the project. <br />Requirement: 30 feet <br />Proposed (Existing): 20 feet <br />Variance: 10 feet <br />Variance: 33% <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to approve/deny Gary Moore's <br />request for a minor variance at 1026 <br />Ruggles Street. <br />
