EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of <br />Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the day of 1988 at <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Member moved that the following resolution denying <br />the application for preliminary plat at 1130 County Road B be <br />adopted. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />DENIAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT AT 1130 COUNTY ROAD B. <br />WHEREAS, Gerald Kaufhold is the owner or has an interest in <br />certain property in the City of Roseville _located at the <br />Southwest corner of County Road B and Lexington Avenue, and has <br />reliminary plat for only part of said <br />filed,an application for a p <br />land. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville has <br />received a report from a professional planner retained by said <br />City that the proposed plat would create certain problems for the <br />Council has also received from <br />Th <br />e Ci <br />ty <br />City of <br />Roseville.y <br />Robert Bierscheid, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City, <br />a report indicating that the proposed park shown on the <br />preliminary plat is not feasible to become a part of the park <br />program of the City of Roseville. <br />WHEREAS, The City Council for the City of Roseville has <br />determined, based on the reports and the testimony at the hearing <br />that the following facts are true: <br />1. The proposed plat creates a future planning problem for s <br />lan <br />the land immediately to the North of etheopdndaCountyeRoadd <br />North of the proposed plat lies between Alata <br />"B". Until a final determination is made on the use of that <br />property, it is impossible to properly plan the area covered by <br />the proposed plat of Gerald Kaufhold. <br />2. The proposed park dedication would create a -1- a-nd-locked <br />park,,without sufficient accessibilty. The proposed access via <br />the proposed 10.5 foot access is inadequate. <br />3. The proposed plat violates the policyof <br />the <br />hecCity <br />of <br />Roseville to avoid, where possible, driveways g with a <br />major thoroughfare. <br />
