I
the affordable nursing home alternative
1995 Oakprest Avenue West
St. Paul, Minnesota 55113
(612) 631-3825
December 29, 1988
Mr.. Craig A. Waldron
Director of Community Development
City of Roseville
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113
Dear Mr. Waldron:
This letter is to request from the City of Roseville a 60-day
extension to our special use permit for our Rosewood Estate
elderly housing project. I understand that the City Council
will be meeting on January 9, and we would Die happy to be
present at the meeting to fully explain the reason for our
request.
As I mentioned to you earlier this month, we have secured
a HUD 221 DM loan, and we were attempting to do an early
start on our project which would have made it possible to
break ground before December 31 (the expiration date of our
special use permit). However, because of technicalities
`
related to an early start on a project with a HUD loan, we
simply have not had enough time to complete all of the paper
work.
We have satisfied all of the requirements in order to "pull"
a building permit., have paid all of the appropriate fees,
and have our building permit in hand. We have also received
a firm commitment from ABG Financial Services of Minneapolis
(a HUD co-insurer) for our project loan. All that remains
now to be completed is final paper work in order to begin
to draw on the loan and start construction.
We respectfully request that the City
extension to our special use permit.
we will be able to complete all of the
loan prior to that date and be able to
construction.
grant us a 60-day r
We are confident that
requirements for our
break ground and start
