DATE: May 30, 1989
TO: Craig Waldron
FROM: Rick Jopke
SUBJECT: Target Stores
I reviewed the Target site again and determined that the
landscaping has been installed as per the approved plans with the
exception of one crab apple tree at the southeast corner of the
Loading dock. That tree is not critical and there may not be
enough room to plant it. There are also 3 austrian pines which
are leaning which detracts from the appearance.
There was a condition on the City approval which stated: "That
-the applicant will resurface the parking lot to correct existing
major standing water problems." To my knowledge, the existing
parking area was not resurfaced and I observed areas with
standing water (I also observed similar standing water problems
in certain areas of the Rosedale parking lots).
I am attempting to find copies of any previous letters which may
have been sent to Target concerning the landscaping and parking
lot drainage. I have not found any so far. I will be drafting a
letter to Target concerning these matters.
,t
1fi
i f
k
's
2
su
fc
