Capp Industries, Incorporatecl <br />(612) 835-3577 <br />January 7, 1987 <br />CITY 7F ROSEV= <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br />Capp Industries is requestLig a setback variance for the <br />installation of a pylon sign for our retail shopping property <br />located at 2057•-2059 North Snelling Avenue. The current setback <br />requirement is thirty feet. Our property does not give us the <br />thirty feet which would allow us to be in compliance. The three <br />businesses to the north are all setback less than thirty feet. <br />McDonalds is approximately 201, Kentucky Fried Chicken is <br />approximately 22' and Arbys is approximately 19'. Also the <br />State Farm business just to the south of us is only about two <br />feet. We are requesting a variance to 16 feet from the property line, <br />wYii 4 would put us six feet from the building with an eight foot <br />sign.
