December 31, 11987
Roseville City Council
Roseville City Hall
2660 Civic Center Drive
Rosevile, Minn. 55113
Re: Fairview Community School Center Parking Lot
Addition, 1910 W. County Road B
Gentlemen:
This letter serves as an explanation of our proposal to construct a 122 space . parking
lot addition at the above referenced property.
The development, as shown on the enclosed site plan incorporates the following:
1. A parking lot containing 122 parking spaces.
2. The pavement will have blacktop surface with a concrete
curb and gutter at the perimeter.
3. Existing surface drainage patterns will be preserved. The lot will be
internally drained to a new catch basin which will be connected to the
3011 diameter underground storm line.
existing g
4. Existing trees (less one) will be maintained. The island on the south end will
be sodded and the remaining perimeter will be restored grass.
5. Existing signage will remain.
In recent years it has become obvious that the existing parking lot at this facility is
inadequate. The success of the community center has created a heavy demand on
available parking spaces, thus creating parking on County Road B. The proposed parking
h.
lot . addition significantly improves this condition and the safety of vehicular and
pedestrian traffic in this area. The parking addition will not adversely affect surrounding
property values..
We respectfully request approval of the above proposal.
Sincerely,
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRIClC #623
Paul Borg
