Is • <br />jj'UPS ' F OI" COUNCIL ACTION DATE: 2/8/88 <br />ITEM NO.: 4 <br />t4partment Approval.: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Item Description: Gerald H. s"auf ho1J request for Comprehensive Plan <br />A.mendrient from school to part and business, rezoning <br />f rom R-1 to ©-2 and :3-•1, and preliminary plat at 1130 <br />County RoaJ B. <br />The Roseville Planning Commission at, its F'et)ruary 3, 1988 meeting, <br />unanimously recommend approval of the following actions: <br />1. To amend thf: City's comprehensive plan frog. school to show parcel <br />A (as shown on plans) as limited business, parcel B (as shown on <br />plans) as business, and parcel C (as shown on plans) as ptrk. <br />2. To rezone parcel A (as shown on plans) from R-1 to B-1 limited <br />business, rezone parcel B (as shown on plans) from R-1 to B-2 and <br />B-1 (parking lot on south end of parcel B) and to leave the zoning <br />of parcel C (as shown on pans) as R-1. <br />3. To approve the preliminary plat as submitted with the condition <br />the driveway onto Lexington Avenue be relocated to line up with <br />Burke Avenue and that an access easement be provided to parcel A <br />to allow access to this driveway. <br />4. That the city's zoning ordinance be amended to allow a post office <br />in a B-1 zoning district by special use permit. (The Co^sncil <br />should refer this item to the elanning Commission if it agrees <br />with the particular approach.) <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to approve/'deny the Gerald Kaufhold <br />request for a comprehensive plan amendment <br />from school to perk, business and limited <br />business, rezoning from R-1 to B-2 and B-1 and <br />preliminary plat with the aforementioned <br />conditions if so desired and to establish <br />March 14, 1988 as date for the Council Public <br />Hearing on the final plat. <br />Motion adopting ordinance rezoning property at <br />1130 County Road B from R-1 to n-2 and B-1. <br />
