Fifth Street
St. Paul, MN 55101
Attn: Roger Jensen
Dear Mr. Jensen:
As I previously indicated to you, the City is concerned about the
use of the former Lexington School site, by customers from the
Rose Gallery across the street. The Lexington School propert-* is
zoned R-1 single family residential, and the use of single family
residentially zoned property for commercial parking would appear
to be prohibited.
City staff has reviewed the matter to determine if there are any
similar cases where commercial uses are utilizing single family
residential property for parking purposes. To our knowledge
there are no similar situations where commercial uses are
utilizing school property for parking. There may be some cases
where there are commercial uses such as green houses on
residentially zoned property, but there does not appear to be a
parking problem related to it.
Please advise as how to Droceed on this particular matter.
Sincerely,
Rick Jopke
Planning and zoning Administrator
City of Roseville
:ms ,
.
