The policy has been to <br />make driveways conform in this situation. The placement of the <br />existing driveway is the most appropriate layout, which is one foot <br />versus the required five feet. Thus, there is a four foot side yard <br />setback variance. <br />The neighbor supported the proposal. <br />Side yard setback 5 feet <br />Proposed 1 foot <br />Variance 4 feet <br />Percent 80 percent <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion approving/denying Alvin Fredrick's request for minor variance <br />at 918 W.
