EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of <br />Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the day of , 1988 at <br />The foll-owing members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Member moved that the following resolution denying <br />the application for preliminary plat at 1130 County Road B be <br />adopted. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />DENIAL. OF PRELIMINARY PLAT AT 1130 COMITY ROAD B. <br />WHEREAS, Gerald Kaufhold is the owner or has an interest in <br />certain property in the City of Roseville located at the <br />Southwest corner of County] Road B and Lexington Avenue, and has <br />filed an appl icati�or a preliminary plat for only cart of said <br />land. h ., -- <br />WHERF,AS,. thel City Council for the City of Roseville has <br />rocoivod a report from a professional planner retained by said <br />City that the proposed plat would creato certain problems for the <br />City of Roseville. Tile City Council has also received from <br />Robert Bierscheid, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City, <br />a report indicating that the proposed park shown on the <br />preliminary plat is not feasible to become a part of the park <br />program of the Cite of Roseville. <br />WHEREAS, The City Council for the City of Roseville has <br />determi nod, based on the reports and the testimony at the hearing <br />that the following facts are true: <br />1. The proposed plat creates a future planning problem for <br />the land immediately to the North of the proposed plat. The land <br />North of the proposed plat lies between the plat and County Road <br />"B". Until a final determination is made on the use of that <br />property, it is impossible to properly plan the area covered by <br />tine proposed plat of Gerald Kaufhold. <br />2. The proposed park dedication would create a land -locked <br />park without sufficient accossibilty. They proposed access via <br />uic proposed 10.5 foot access is i ew degUa L e . <br />3. The proposed prat violates the policy of the City of ` <br />Roseville to avoid, where possible, driveways intersecting with a <br />major thoroughfare. <br />
