Hassing request for minor variance and <br />partial release of easement at 1035 W. Brooks. <br />The Minor Variance Committee convened May 6, 1987, and unanimously <br />recommended approval of the Timothy G. Hassing request for minor <br />variance and partial release of easement at 1035 W. Brooks. <br />Mr. Hassing is requesting permission to build a home that would encroach <br />approximately nine inches on a City sewer easement. Therefore, the <br />City will have to complete a partial release of easement. <br />A Williams pipeline easement in the rear precludes moving the house <br />further back on the lot. Thus the front yard variance is one foot (29 <br />feet versus 30 feet). <br />The partial easement should be approved first before the minor variance <br />can be granted. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion approving/denying Timothy G. Hassing's request for minor variance <br />and partial release of easement at 1035 W. Brooks. <br />
