EVIEWED/RECOMMENDS: <br />E_9 and variance as provided by the shoreline zoning ordinance <br />2 Road <br />Mr. Erickson has net with Mr. Dahlgren regarding his proposal and Mr. Dahlgren <br />has prepared the following report. <br />"Mr. Erickson has a house on a very shallow lot on Lake Josephine <br />which has an A-fram° addition on the west side to a rather unsightly <br />cement block original house which is painted white. He proposes to <br />put a small addition on the older part of the building and redo the <br />white cement block exterior in cedar to match the existing A -frame. <br />This will make a substantial improvement in appearance of this home <br />and will, in fact, substantially improve the appearance of this end <br />of the lake. The existing house is 26 feet from the shore. That portion <br />where he proposes to put the addition would be 27 feet from the shore. <br />You will note from reviewing the drawing, however, that the addition is <br />substantially further from the shore than a shed located on the contiguous <br />property to the east. It appears that approval of this shoreline develop- <br />ment proposal, including a variance from the required 75 feet, would be <br />appropriate." ` <br />1 <br />Attached is a drawing of the proposed addition to the home. <br />Council Action Requested: Motion (approving) (denying) Jerry Erickson's <br />request for building permit and variance as <br />provided by the shorelind zoning ordinance. <br />at 1201 Josephine Road. <br />
