A <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: /86 <br />10/27 <br />ITEM NO.: e ,3 <br />Department Appr val: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Reports and Recommendations <br />Item Description: Barbara Hunn request for Minor Variance at 1316 <br />Ruggles. <br />The Minor Variance Committee convened October <br />req <br />uest6 and ly <br />recommended approval of the BarbaraquestforMinor Variance <br />1316 Ruggles. <br />Ms. Hunn wants to construct a lap pool, which would run through the <br />existing property line. In view of the fact that she also owns <br />property to the west, she will be requesting an administrative lot <br />split to move the lin.: west to set the pool the required ten feet from <br />the new lot line. <br />However, before the lot can be split, minor variances are required to <br />bring the existing house to the west into conformance, which will be <br />nine feet versus the required thirty feet from the rear line after the <br />administrative lot split takes place. Thus, the variance is twenty- <br />one feet.
