REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE: 7/14/86 <br />ITEM NO.: �7-3 <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Reports and Recommendations <br />Item Description: Linden Dahlstrom request for Minor Variance at 1276 <br />W. Eldridge. <br />The Minor Variance Committee convened July 11, 1986, and unanimously <br />recommended approval of the Linden W. Dahlstrom request for minor <br />variance at 1276 W. Eldridge Avenue. <br />The Dahlstrom's are building a new 24' x 24' detached garage to replace <br />an existing single car garage in the same location. They also propose <br />to extend their current screen porch 4' to the west, and convert this <br />space to year-round use. The required building setback is 30' from a <br />front property line, and the exi'_sting home and detached garage are set <br />back 15 4 and 11 respectively, as indicated on the plan. Grading <br />problems, tree locations, and the existing home and garage location <br />were factors discussed. All neighbors supported the proposal. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion approving/denying Linden Dahlstrom request for Minor Variance <br />at 1276 W. Eldridge. <br />
